Beauty open to the sky and the soul

Very close to Valladolid, among paths of vegetation and old haciendas, is one of the most enchanting cenotes in Yucatan: Saamal. An open cenote, with deep and fresh waters, framed by the living stone and the sky.

Cenote Saamal is one of those that are not hidden. Its beauty is direct, expansive, almost theatrical. From the moment you arrive, the first thing you feel is the humid air and the eternal murmur of water falling from above, like a never-ending rain. The sunlight filters on the surface and transforms it into a jade pool, luminous and deep.
